Explosion proof directional control valve
Explosion proof directional control valves are designed to control the hydraulic liquid (oil) flow direction in the hydraulic systems requiring power supply from intrinsically safe circuits (to differentiate them from typical hydraulics, the labelling begins with " I").

I M1 Ex ia I certified and can work " ia" or "ib" intrinsic safety circuit of an approved battery for Group 1 of gas explosiveness of maximum parameters of Ui = 15V, Ii = 1.6 A.
These valves are meant to operate, among others, in:
- Hydraulic systems requiring power supply from intrinsically safe circuits, which are incapable of causing ignition in an explosive environment for Group 1 (explosive mixture of 8.3 % of methane with air) by producing a spark or a thermal phenomenon,
- Underground, at mines, and at parts of their surface installations (as they are machines designed to meet the requirements of Group 1 of Category M1), where there is a probability of occurrence of methane explosion and / or pulverised coal explosion (the atmosphere may contain, beside methane and pulverised coal, also significant volumes of other flammable gases and / or dusts).
