Proportional 3-way flow controller WDUD16 - NEW PRODUCT!
Proportional, 3-way flow controller type WDUD16 – is a modern solution intended for applications requiring stepless, proportional and independent from the supply pressure adjustment of hydraulic oil flow.
Accurate and stable adjustment
The WDUD16 regulator allows for precise control of the flow rate in the priority port—up to 140 l/min—regardless of pressure fluctuations on the supply side. The valve's maximum total flow rate is 300 l/min.
The principle of operation is based on dividing the input flow into:
Priority flow (up to 140 l/min) – directed to an actuator (e.g., a motor or cylinder).
Residual flow – discharged without pressure to the return line, or it can be utilized to power an additional actuator.
This solution provides:
- Stable operation of the actuator,
- Reduced energy losses,
- Increased efficiency of the entire hydraulic system.
An additional advantage of the new WDUD16 version is its low flow resistance compared to previous models in the WDUD series.
Remote Control and Versatile Applications
The valve is electrically and proportionally controlled, enabling remote regulation of the hydraulic flow rate. In practice, this allows precise adjustment of:
- Rotational speed of hydraulic motors,
- Extension and retraction speeds of hydraulic cylinders.
The WDUD16 is ideal for applications requiring smooth motion control—particularly in mobile and industrial systems.
Example Application – Agricultural Industry
The new regulator perfectly meets the needs of the agricultural market, including applications such as:
- Speed control of floor conveyors (scrapers) in silage and feed wagons,
