On April 29, an official ceremony was held to mark the commencement of construction of the new production hall of PONAR Wadowice – Łaziska Górne branch. This investment represents a significant step in further development of the company and the strengthening of its production potential.
The new facility will have an area of over 1,850 m² and will allow for an increase in production capacity, as well as the further modernization of technological processes. The construction of the hall is being carried out as part of the project "Diversification of the Plant's activities through the construction of a low-emission Production Center for Drives, Controls, and Special Purpose Systems," co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027 program (Just Transition Fund).

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of local government authorities and public institutions, including: the City Hall in Łaziska Górne, the District Starosty in Mikołów, the City of Katowice, the Marshal's Office, the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Mikołów, the District Police Headquarters in Mikołów and Łaziska Górne, the Silesian Centre for Entrepreneurship, and the Katowice Special Economic Zone, as well as individuals involved in the project's implementation.
The start of the new hall's construction is the next stage of PONAR Wadowice's consistently implemented development strategy, aimed at increasing innovation and strengthening the company's market position.
Completion of the hall construction is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
