Fuel injector test bench

The injector test bench is used to determine the cone angle generated by the tested injector. The designed device enables tests of injectors with single and double supply.

Test description: After mounting the injector in the holder, the operator sets the temperature, pressure, and the largest cone. Next, they take a photo and adjust the cone arms using simple handles. The angle is calculated automatically.

The bench enables tests using two liquids: in this case, aviation fuel and calibration fluid. When changing the liquid, the system is purged and flushed using a drain tank. Additionally, the bench is equipped with a vacuum pump enabling:

• extraction of vapors during tests
• purification of the atmosphere in the test chamber after the test is completed

and, if necessary, allowing the working fluid to be sucked out of the system during a change of the working medium.

The test bench complies with the requirements of the ATEX directive. The device is intended for use in explosive atmospheres.
