PONAR Wadowice acquires a 51% stake in CASP System

On April 24, 2026, PONAR Wadowice S.A. signed an agreement to purchase a 51% stake in CASP System sp. z o.o., one of the largest Polish companies specializing in the design and production of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment, which allows for product quality verification without interfering with their structure, functionality, or technical condition.

“Non-destructive testing is one of the fastest-growing industrial segments in Europe. Alongside traditional areas of application, such as the oil & gas sector or aviation, it is playing an increasingly vital role in defense industry projects, where requirements regarding quality, safety, and reliability are of paramount importance.

The acquisition of a majority stake in CASP System is the next step for PONAR Wadowice in building a strong, domestic engineering partnership. Non-destructive testing can be performed both at the production stage and during the operation of equipment and structures, allowing for ongoing assessment of their technical condition without affecting their durability or further utility.

– The development of competencies in non-destructive testing and the integration of technical facilities in this area strengthen our control over quality processes and increase the share of ‘local content’ in key industrial programs, including those for Polish combat vehicles and other applications of strategic importance, while simultaneously cooperating with specialized certification bodies – emphasizes Marek Warzecha, President of the Management Board of PONAR Wadowice.
