On 15th of April PONAR Wadowice SA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DEMARKO SA – a manufacturer of specialized semi-trailers, trailers, and bodies for delivery and heavy-duty vehicles.
The agreement is strategic in nature and concerns cooperation in the defense and industrial sectors.
As part of this cooperation, PONAR Wadowice will supply hydraulic components and provide power hydraulics services for the needs of vehicles manufactured by DEMARKO. Simultaneously, DEMARKO will provide support in the supply and assembly of advanced welded structures, particularly for military applications.
The model of interaction is based on the complementary competencies of both companies – PONAR Wadowice in the area of advanced power hydraulics and DEMARKO in the design and production of special vehicles and welded structures. The cooperation also includes research and development activities and the exchange of technological knowledge.
– The dynamic development of the defense sector in Poland favors the building of long-term partnerships based on domestic competencies. Cooperation with DEMARKO allows us to implement increasingly advanced projects and strengthen our position in European supply chains – comments Marek Warzecha, President of the Management Board of PONAR Wadowice SA.
The signed agreement constitutes another step in the development of PONAR Wadowice’s activities and strengthens the company’s potential in implementing projects for demanding sectors, including defense.
