On 14 October 2026, the International Congress Centre in Katowice will host the “Industry for Defence” conference, with PONAR Wadowice participating as an official Partner.
The event will provide an opportunity to discuss the industrial, technological, and economic foundations of national security. Key topics will include local content and polonisation, technology transfer, investment financing, expanding production capacity and industrial competencies, as well as increasing the participation of Polish enterprises in domestic and European value chains. A major element of the agenda will also focus on the dual-use economy and leveraging the potential of civilian companies for defence requirements.
Representatives from PONAR Wadowice will participate in two panel discussions during the conference:
- 13:45 | “Local Content and Polonisation: How Much of Polish Defence is Truly Domestic?”Marek Warzecha, President of the Management Board of PONAR Wadowice
- 15:30 | “Dual-Use Industry: The Dual-Use Economy”Piotr Rosikowski, Director of Engineering and Development at PONAR Wadowice
Taking part in the conference will offer a valuable opportunity to exchange insights and discuss the vital role of Polish industry in advancing domestic manufacturing, technological, and engineering capabilities for defence.
We invite you to join us at the event and meet with representatives from PONAR Wadowice in Katowice.
