PONAR Wadowice was named among the winners of this year’s edition of ‘The Best of Industry’ competition. The distinction was awarded for the PONAR Defence project, aimed at developing the company’s manufacturing, research, and development capabilities in defense and dual-use technologies.
The awards were presented during a formal gala accompanying the New Industry Forum and the TOOLEX and ExpoWELDING trade fairs in Katowice.
The PONAR Defence project represents an important element of the company’s development. Its core objective is the integration and further strengthening of operations dedicated to the defense sector, including the development of proprietary technologies, production facilities, as well as engineering and research capabilities.
During the gala, Marek Warzecha, President of the Board at PONAR Wadowice, emphasized the importance of domestic industry, in-house manufacturing capabilities, and Polish engineering expertise in building technological independence and national security.
The distinction received highlights the significance of a development path that combines PONAR Wadowice’s industrial potential with the needs of the defense sector and advanced technologies.
