PONAR Wadowice developed and manufactured a hydraulic drive and control system for steam supply control and shut-off valves on pipelines in a power plant.
The delivery included a hydraulic power unit, 2 pcs. of control blocks with proportional directional control valves, and 2 pcs. of cylinders with continuous position measurement. The hydraulic power unit was equipped with an electrically driven pump unit, a manual pump for emergency power supply to the blocks, a hydraulic accumulator for emergency power supply to the control systems, and accessories (filters, pressure sensors, etc.).
USEB6 type proportional directional control valves manufactured by PONAR Wadowice were used to control the control valve system. The hydraulic power and control system ensures continuous operation of the control valve and emergency shut-off of the valve in the event of a power outage.
