PONAR Wadowice hydraulic systems
Comprehensive Architecture and System Components
Each hydraulic system is custom-designed to optimally meet the parameters required by the specific technological process. These integrated systems comprise:
- Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) – the core of the system, consisting of oil reservoirs in various capacities (ranging from compact solutions to large-scale tanks), pump groups (gear, piston, or vane pumps), and electric motors or internal combustion engines.
- Manifold Blocks and Accumulator Stations – centralized configurations of functional blocks and plates with integrated valve assemblies and directional control valves, alongside hydropneumatic accumulator stations (bladder or piston types) used for energy storage or pulsation dampening.
- Fluid Conditioning Systems – integrated filtration units (return, pressure, filling, and off-line/bypass filters) as well as cooling (oil-air or oil-water coolers) and heating systems that guarantee the maintenance of the optimum oil cleanliness class and operating temperature.
- Control and Instrumentation Systems (I&C) – comprehensive instrumentation including level, temperature, and pressure sensors, as well as oil cleanliness monitors, all interfacing with control cabinets and PLC controllers.
Specialized and Custom Implementations
Engineering and manufacturing capabilities allow for the delivery of systems capable of operating under extremely harsh environmental conditions:
- Mining and Explosion-Proof Systems – installations designed in compliance with the ATEX directive, adapted for underground mining operations (methane and dust hazard zones) and the chemical industry, often powered by water-glycol fluids or fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFC, HFDU).
- Lubrication and Centralized Lubrication Systems – dedicated systems responsible for the continuous supply of lubricant to the bearings and gears of large rotating machinery.
- Large-Scale Industrial Installations – extensive piping systems, drive installations for industrial presses, metallurgical equipment, or lifting mechanisms for locks and weirs in hydro-engineering facilities.
Every system undergoes rigorous testing procedures on test benches to verify tightness, efficiency, and full compliance with specified pressure and flow parameters. This ensures maximum reliability, energy efficiency, and complete repeatability of the operating cycles within the final installation.
