PONAR Wadowice S.A. receives an award from the Krakow Technology Park for investment in defense.

We have been honored with an award from the Krakow Technology Park during the KTP Business Gala for the implementation of a strategic investment in the defense sector.

The distinction was awarded in the “Investment in Defense” category, recognizing the project’s significance for the development of the national defense industry and the strengthening of Poland’s technological security.

PONAR Wadowice S.A. is the first company from the defense sector to receive support under the Polish Investment Zone, marking a significant milestone for both the company and the entire industry. As part of the project, we will invest nearly 100 million PLN in the construction of a new production hall (approximately 1,000 m²) and a modern machinery park. This investment will significantly increase our production capacity, enable further technological development, and solidify the company’s position as a key provider of solutions for the defense sector.

The award was accepted during the gala by the President of the Management Board of PONAR Wadowice S.A., Marek Warzecha, who emphasized the significance of this recognition:

– This is a great honor for us and confirmation that the path we have chosen is of strategic importance—not only for PONAR but for the entire Polish defense industry. The investment carried out within the Polish Investment Zone will allow us to develop modern technologies, increase production potential, and respond even more effectively to market needs and national security,” said President Marek Warzecha.

This new investment represents the next stage of dynamic growth for PONAR Wadowice S.A., which consistently strengthens its technological and production competencies, contributing to the construction of a strong and modern industrial base in Poland.
