On April 7th, a formal signing of a cooperation agreement between PONAR Wadowice S.A. and the Polish-American Centre, operating under the “Kościuszko Mound Committee”, took place at the Kościuszko Mound in Krakow.
On behalf of PONAR Wadowice, the agreement was signed by the President of the Management Board, Marek Warzecha, while the Kościuszko Mound Committee was represented by the President of the Management Board, Prof. Dr. Hab. Piotr Dobosz, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. An entry into the commemorative Guest Book was made by Mr. Jacek Zygmunt, Advisor to the Board of PONAR Wadowice.
The Polish-American Centre will serve as a common platform for Polish-American initiatives in Poland. Its goal is to create an open space for dialogue, creativity, and the exchange of experiences.
PONAR Wadowice supports the initiative to establish the Polish-American Centre, recognizing its significant potential for the development of international cooperation and the building of lasting relationships, including business ties, between Poland and the United States. The signing of the agreement marks the beginning of long-term cooperation between PONAR Wadowice S.A. and the Kościuszko Mound Committee in Krakow. This partnership will contribute to the further development of transatlantic relations and strengthen the position of Poland and the region as an important centre for international dialogue.
The Kościuszko Mound Committee in Krakow was founded in 1820, and the Kościuszko Mound itself is a place of special historical and symbolic significance. It commemorates the figure of Tadeusz Kościuszko—a hero connecting the history of Poland and the United States—and is recognized as one of the most important spaces for Polish-American dialogue in the country.
