PONAR Silesia has obtained a Quality Management Certificate in compliance with AQAP:2110 requirements. In the last few days, our company has successfully undergone an audit and was rewarded a certificate for the following scope “Designing, production, assembly and maintenance of oil hydraulic and lubrication systems”.
Obtaining the certificate proves that PONAR Silesia operates in accordance to the highest quality standards, among others, for the Customers of defense industry.
What is AQAP:
AQAP stands for Allied Quality Assurance Publication - it is a system specifying the requirements of NATO concerning the quality of the delivered products and services. Simply put, AQAP is an extended quality standard ISO 9001 – that goes beyond its framework. AQAP regulates among other things, the improvement of managerial efficiency in planning, risk management and reliability; regulates the transparency of organizational structures and clear regulations of authorization and competence ranges, internal and external communication within the organization. AQAP principles were introduced in 1987, that is from the date of issuing ISO 9000 standards. NATO member states decided to introduce requirements specified in these standards to the systems of supplying the armed forces of the member states, by developing and publishing of the standardization agreement STANAG 4107. "Mutual acceptance of government processes to ensure the quality and the use of Allied Quality Assurance Publication AQAP".
